Foxwood House is a gorgeous victorian estate nestled in the woods of Pend Orielle County, between Newport and Diamond Lake. On 10-acre estate sits a 6,200 square foot private residence built entirely by the hands residence owners, Jeanine and Roger Shawgo, in 1999. 
 

The breathtaking property has ​5 acres of tree-lined woods and 5 acres of manicured, luscious garden which guests enter through a tree and chandelier lined driveway. Foxwood House also includes a dock on the lake for photo opportunities.

The choice is yours for your wedding ceremony and reception sites. We can accommodate up to 300 guests and are open from May - September. Common ceremony and reception site options are:

• Festivities are 100% in the woods.

• Festivities are 100% in the garden.

• Ceremony in the woods, with reception to follow in the garden.

• Ceremony in the garden, with reception to follow in the woods.
   

The Bride and her attendants will be ushered to a cottage to get ready in. The Groom and his men are escorted to their private changing cottage. We will direct your wedding guests to the wedding area to relax and visit in the ever expanding garden or woods while awaiting the festivities.
